This site is an independent guide to the Karnataka Revenue Department’s Atalji Janasnehi Kendra (AJSK) portal, known as Nadakacheri. We are not the government portal and we do not process applications. We explain how to use the official system, and link directly to it for every action you actually need to take.

What Nadakacheri Is?

Before this Nadakacheri portal existed, getting a caste, income, or residence certificate in Karnataka meant a physical visit to a taluk or Tahsildar office, often more than once. The Revenue Department of Karnataka moved that process online under the project called Atalji Janasnehi Kendra (AJSK). Now you apply for the most needed certificates like caste, income, residence, etc. with your Aadhaar number, phone number and an OTP, upload the necessary documents asked for in online itself through the portal, and track progress with an RD number (generated after successful submission of application) instead of visiting the Tahsildar office in person to ask.

Two Ways to Get Nadakacheri Services

Online, on your own

  1. Go to the Nadakacheri 5.0 login page and sign in with your mobile number and OTP.
  2. Pick Kannada or English, then choose your service under New Request.
  3. Fill in the certificate details, upload documents, complete Aadhaar e-sign, and pay through any UPI app.
  4. Track progress with Get Application Status using your RD number.
  5. Once approved, download or print your certificate from the Print menu.

Offline, at an AJSK center

You’ll find the AJSK center at your taluk’s Tahsildar office, there’s no separate center to search for. Staff there submit your application through the identical system, on your behalf.

Go straight to the AJSK center rather than a private cyber center and you pay only the actual government service fee listed for that certificate. Cyber centers commonly add their own handling charge on top of the government fee for the same paperwork.

What to bring:

  • Aadhaar card
  • A mobile number for OTP verification
  • Supporting documents for the specific certificate

How We Keep This Page Accurate

We re-check the fee schedule, service list, and login flow against the official AJSK portal regularly, and update this page whenever something changes.

Common Questions

Do I need to create an account before logging in?
No. You log in directly with any mobile number and an OTP each time.
Can I apply in person instead?
Yes, at your nearest Atalji Janasnehi Kendra or taluk office.
I’m not receiving the OTP. What do I do?
Wait a minute, refresh, and retry. If it still fails, try a different phone number, since some carriers delay portal OTPs more than others.
Can I use one phone number for multiple applications?
Yes, but each service needs its own separate application and fee.
