What is Nadakacheri Portal?
The Karnataka Nadakacheri Portal is an online platform introduced by the Revenue Department of Karnataka under the Atalji Janasnehi Kendra (AJSK) project. Initially, citizens had to visit Atalji Janasnehi Kendras or Nadakacheris at the taluk level to apply for certificates such as caste certificates, income certificates, residence certificates, and agriculture certificates, which were issued offline by the Karnataka government’s Revenue Department.
However, to simplify the process and make these services more accessible, the department introduced the Nadakacheri portal—a digital platform that allows citizens to apply for these certificates online. The term “Nada” refers to the state, and “Kacheri” means office, translating to “State Office” in the form of an online portal.
